By supporting the GVFB, you are helping to provide healthy food to those in need.

The GVFB was set up as a temporary relief to the hunger crisis in 1983 and has grown significantly in the four decades since then.

We support an ever-growing average of 15,000 lives a month, 28% of whom are children, and 14% are seniors.

53% of the food distributed by the GVFB goes to individuals in four locations across our catchment area: Vancouver, Burnaby , New Westminster, and the North Shore.

The remaining 47% of the food distributed goes to our network of Agency Partners. These partners use GVFB food to fuel their food programs, including small community food banks, daily snack and meal programs for shelters and community housing, school nutrition programs, and more.

   Chances are 1 in 800 (total raffle tickets for sale) to win a prize. Actual odds depend on number of raffle tickets sold.
